Bought A New Car This Weekend...

Well not really new...but in the best shape I've ever seen for an East Coast car from the 90's. Its a 1993 Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe. I used to own one of these out in Cali and decided to pick it up on a whim since it was cleaner and cheaper than Ive ever seen. I plan to just put some wheels on it, keep her clean and take her to some shows as an early survivor of the 90s era |

yeah its absolutely ridiculous how clean the car was for the price honestly. The original owner had everything completely coated underneath and kept up on the maintenance every year. Garage Kept as well.

Heres a few shots from the underside

The one I owned in California was a 5 speed, this one is an Automatic sadly, but the body condition dictated that it wasnt an issue The 5 speeds in them are the M5R2 out of the Mazda B series and ranger pickups...so its really easy to swap over actually

under the absolute best conditions. The thing is if you remove the exhaust restrictions and toss on 300 bucks worth of pullies, they gain horsepower quite easily, as anything with Forced Induction does. Pretty much a Rear Wheel drive Grand Prix GTP The IRS is fun though
Thanks for the nice words everyone. I really do enjoy the car, especially from people that's never seen one before

haha thats funny because the 93 has the best look imo. the 94/95 remodel got the stang style rounded interior and the lt1 looking front end. I do however like the lx style rounded bumpers from 96 but they didnt make a s/c that year sadly. My old 90 SC had a 96 front bumper and hood though
