				Got a new car !!

Going to pick it up tomorrow, and by then there will be pics in this thread... 1989 Pro/Am I ... it was driven almost all of its life in Florida with only 80,000 miles on it! $3500 I couldnt turn it down. Everything is bone stock except for the cowl hood and widey tires Took it out for a test ride and runs REAL smooth NO ACCIDENTS AND ELECTRICAL SHORTS WOOOHOO!!!! Baby Blue and Grey Two-tone, female owned. The For Sale signs were taken off the car today.

A company in chattenooga took an 89 Firebird model, threw on badges, added upgraded wheels, little nick-nacks here and there, and ground effects. Very nice tho, i cant find ANYTHING on the info of Pro/Am's . http://www.angelfire.com/mo/mtxsubz/next.html
Thats the only other Pro/Am 1 i found and theres no way its 250 horses

			Congrat's.
They made them for 4th gen v6's too:
Pro-Am III Firebird

The Pro-Am III Firebird was done by a company (no longer in business) in Chattanooga, TN. It was a base V6 Firebird with large "Pro-Am III" lettering on the doors. The stock hood got a fiberglass ram air scoop attached to the top (similar to the Firehawk/WS6), but was not functional. Also included in the package were side skirts, a dual outlet muffler, a numbered plaque, two-tone paint, chrome 5-spoke 16" wheels with the original base tires, and different bumper covers.

I'm lookin for 3rd gen info currently

Hmmmm, was on www.camaroz28.com .... nothing so far.. I'll dig out my books too

Finally got some info with EXTENSIVE research... Around 1500 firebirds / formulas between 87-89 were given/sold (not sure) to a company in Chatenooga IL named Choo Choo Customs (no longer in business) for a Dealership's promotional purposes (to sell and intrigue Fbody enthusiasts). This company added a non-functional cowl hood, dual exhausts, wood grain interior, ground effects, and other little nick-nacks.
They came out in a Pro/Am I, II, and III (III being a 95' FB and might I add, I saw a pic of one and looks CRAZZZY). Around 450 - 500 were made in '87 (still can't find exact info on the '89). Mine has a 305 TBI unfortunately, but only 80,000 miles!! The body is immaculate (no leaks in T-tops) except just one small dingy in the passenger fender.

I didnt get the chance today to pick it up because i worked 3 1/2 hours overtime on short notice. Tomorrow I'll be picking it up and by tomorrow night ill have pics here.
