WTF only 3 people showed up from the board including myself where the **** were the other 15 or so people that were supposed to show? There wasnt even a rain drop on my car until after 3pm so dont use that as your excuse...and if that was your excuse you should be asshamed of yourselves.

Actually, I left my house at 2:25 and it friggen poured about 10 minutes from my house so I wasn't driving another 20 mins in that ******** and taking a risk of having an accident!

50-55mph the converter is locked and your hovering at 1400-1500 rpms thats how...if i do 70 on the highway I avg maybe 32mpg...i just wanted to test something out that the guys on club gp were talking about the other day.

I was there in my gp before brandon who had the firebird...and Roy showed up within mins but didnt bother to leave his camaro until I approached him...sometimes you just have to park for a few mins...like I was telling them alot of the guys on this board either dont have an fbody any longer or its broken

case in point
1. SOMSS02-selling hers
2. Slow88-hes on a spool so couldnt make it through the rain
3. Tru2Chevy-pimpin his lumina till he gets his camaro issues sorted
4. NJSPEEDER-has one & insured but not sure if he'd risk a 40 mile drive
8. Jersey_TA-blown motor recently
9. GrandmasterCow-broken window + rain=no show
12. DZ-showed 97 camaro
13. foff667-showed 00 gtp
14. Brando56894-showed 4.2 gen firebird
15. LS1LT1-has a sn95 mustang that he drives alot

not to say thats everyone & not to say the people that have secondary cars showed because most of them didnt but if people dont park & ask how do they know others arent already inside? I've never been to marlton before let alone chammps so I didnt know where to park & being I was the first one there that I could see there was no firebird to park next to, there was no camaro to park next to so I just parked & went in to ask if anyone else had showed up. I know its frustrating to drive around a parking lot looking for a bunch of fbodies, but how do you think it would feel if the owner of that one red firebird(brando56894) was the only one there & you didnt even stop to park by him & made him eat alone. So now you drove out there left, but left someone else hanging...kinda selfish I think knowing there was at least one other person you didnt even meet, talk to, have dinner with because well he was the only other person to show. I'd like to hear the excuses from the admins though since they both signed up to come down to the meet & neither made it...did you guys drive north this time? Probably about a strait a drive as it gets 295s to rt 73s, done. I'd also like to hear from SOMSS into what happened? From what I could tell chammps had no reservation for njfboa which i mentioned to the young lady at the desk not that it wouldve helped.

sorry i didn't make it down. as some of you know already, my car accident has left me temporarily screwed for cash.
i did manage to get to new egypt last night, but that was only because i got a ride and someone gave me money to get in to the race.
we will just have to regroup and get everyone motivated to teh meet in the north next month.

later

if you were driving a dark blue vette, that was me following you around i remembered sum1 sayin that they were gonna show up in a vette but couldnt remember who, i was half tempted to stop you and ask if you were part of the club. i kept seeing you around, then you left.

It'll be time for me to see if the north does rule the south, ill be up there in a week!
