Message for Fasterthanyou and anyone else who cares...

So when Jon and I began tuning my car on our last attempt, i had some serious spark scatter issues according to the tachometer bouncing. I ran a run at atco with it, and have been driving it for at least 5,000 miles with this symptom. here i am thinking my plug wires are arcing to eachother and id get random misfires. Well, the past weekend i went for a drive up to the mountains...after i had been there and the car was warm, if i was driving and i went about 3000 rpms, the thing would backfire like crazy out of the exhaust. yesterday at school i decided id look under the hood for anything that looks suspect. i decided to check all of my wires...each one was on...then i looked down again to the number 6 plug area...the plug end didnt have any boot on it...i found out yesterday that my number 6 has been disconnected for who knows how long. i ran over all this stuff when this began, never saw the plug unbooted though. now the car is MEAN. increased gas mileage, and today i barely touched the gas and kicked the ass end out. cant wait for the track now.
