So I ran over the Grand F'ing Canyon today
goddam pa drivers!!!!
i got cut off on my way to work this morning. forced me onto the shoulder where i found the biggest pot hole in the history of mankind.
i swear to god it felt like the back of the car came off the ground.
but wait!!!! it actually may get worse!!!!!
there is now the feeling that something is binding in the rear at low speeds. dunno what i coudl have messed up back there. everything is still attached, no bent wheels, no hurt tires.
i will be able to get it up in the air and take the cover off saturday. hopefully thee is no damage to the rear, but i dunno what could make it feel like it does.
i can't wait until this year is over. i have had more problems related to cars than ever before. totaled one, blew up a motor, and now this. i don't make enough money for this to be amusing for much longer. [/rant]

i made a decision today, not oen i am happy with, but i think it is the right call for now.
i am not gonna bother trying to get any times on the car before the end of the season. i will go ahead and start my winter plans now and be 100% confident that everything is cool with the car in march/april when i planned to have it ready to really throw down numbers anyway.
i am sort of pissed that it has come to this, but i know that it is a better plan than rushing through everything just so i can hit the track once or twice before it snows. the car will be safer and more reliable this way.
i am winter beater shopping, so if anyone has any suggestions of a car that will last at least until march/april for $500 or less i would like to hear about them.
the sooner i get a ****box the sooner the camaro starts getting upgraded.

I figured you'd go and at least baseline it first. One pass to baseline it, won't be too bad, will it?

p.s. this decision was made because since i hit that pot hole my rear isn't turning smoothly and i don't have time to take it all apart and sort it out without taking the car down for a while. it was jsut the last straw as far as this year was concerned
