it took 20-30 mins to do spark plugs ass hat. It took us another hour to ****ing get around the ****ing a/c compressor to get the valve cover out without removing the whole thing.
In between we goofed off and tried to play with the timing, but that wasnt cutting it.
And Koll's valve cover, the easy one, leaks. Take the valve cover off...vola, the gasket is twisted.
So **** yo' couch.

i am far from a boyd coddington fan, but if you lower the 72 a bit you could drop on a set of his "magneato" wheels and it woudl look completely bad azz.

i hate him too. he is a hack and everyone else supplies the labor and 99% of the ideas for the cars he "builds". i jsut saw those wheels and instantly pictured them on al's car. they would look great even if their creater was an asshat who should die in a flaming pool of elephant dung and frat house vomit.

Wow, that was pretty vivid Tim...
Anyway, no I didnt buy the Rally's but I think Im gunna. But the Torque Trust style rims were pretty cheap at 460 bucks, so Im heavily debating. Cheapest I saw online for the rallys is abotu 300.

Yes...thinking about it a lot. Tires would deffinatly cost more, and at 17x8, you cant fit that much rubber on there, or not as much as I would like. I think 275 would be pushing it, as well as I might rub on the fenders/leaf spring.

There are some pretty good tires available in a 245/45/17 (same size as 99-04 'stangs)....I've looked into what's available for Kare's GT.

TT2's can be expensive and are too common.

In your search for tires, I went to www.vulcantires.com and bought the Falken Ziex 512's for my old 68 Camaro that had the 16x8 TT2 style wheels. They are in Allentown PA so shipping was less than $40.

go to www.nastyz28.com and do a search for 17inch rims. i think someone said they are fitting 17x9's with 275/40's on a 5.25 or 5.5 inch back spacing.
btw, TT2's = played out rim of the century. they are cool looking and all, but at this point i have seen them on everythign from hummers to hondas

Falken Zeik 512 is crap. I sell it here at the store. Tires arent a huge deal, I can get them pretty cheap here on top of free install
A friend of mine is selling a set of BFG Traction TA's in a 15 for 200 bucks brand new. That with a set of 15 inch rally rims gets me about 500 bucks for new tires and rims. I have good experianace with the Tractions since thats what I put on my Maxx. I think its a good buy, and what I plan on doing. Thanks guys. Now, for thoes Rally's...
