Best Birthday Present EVAR!!
Today, I opend up my email to find a e-letter from Scott Settlmire inviting me and a guest (its already been taken) to a 2 day event, hosted by GM!!!!
OH YEAH!!
First day will be Sunday, Jan 8th. It will be a little thing down at GM's Heritage Center where they will have several displays, one being Camaro and Firebird: 35 years of Performance!!
Next day, Monday Jan 9th, we will be taken to Cobo hall to take in the North American International Auto Show!! We will be there to see several new cars being uncoverd...as well as a certain car near and dear to most of our hearts.
I am so over-excited Im gunna pass out. This is the best bday present I have gotten ever. I will be sure to take plenty of pictures, and have them available to everyone when I get back.

Congratulations! My friend and I will be checking into the host hotel on Saturday and will be leaving on Tuesday. Scott is arranging for name tags with our real names pre-printed, and we can fill in our screen names. I am looking forward to meeting in person those whose posts I have enjoyed reading over the years.

Scott Settlimire is the former Brand Manger for the Fbodies and probably one of the key guys trying to make the Camaro happen.
He is currently in charge of all Chevy Media events.
