stole my credit card or debit card- I was lucky I was looking at my statement tonight. Someone made an unauthorized charge to my account of $264.00 to betresearch.com- and get this- I did a whois search of the company and it's from friggin malta. But anyway, just got off the phone with a representative who put a block on my card so that it can't be used anymore.

It sucks though, because I did some research and I guess I might be responsible for $50 of it... bleh. Eh well... now I have to go through the ********* of getting a new card too- thankfully I already purchased my magnaflow exhaust through ebay and its on its way- if I hadn't, i'd be EXTREMELY pissed right now... as I'm already pretty upset. Eh well- how the hell could they have gotten my card number in the first place? lol... anyway, just wanted to vent a bit... any of you guys been through this? I'm sure someone has... how'd it turn out?

Eh well... i'm gonna get some sleep now... gotta wake up at the crack of dawn now tomorrow because my bank opens at 8 to try and get this all figured out. Wish me luck guys, lol

Just to be safe, you might want to check your bank statement. Credit card is one thing, but if they start taking from your bank account it's worse.

my friend just had that **** happen to him. when it was all said and done they did about a grand in damage. he was so pissed. im pretty sure the bank gave him all the money back so it ok now but it really sucks. sorry to hear this. i hope it works out for you.
