Australia to build Camaro?

Some of Holden's designers seem to be working on it, read on: http://carsguide.news.com.au/story/0...-21822,00.html

i think they are saying that Holden may use the camaro chassis and basic body for some type of LHD vehicle, maybe the next gen monaro.

No, Holden is working on the RWD chassis that the Camaro will be based off of to #1 speed up development since they know RWD pretty good, #2 set it up for making a Monaro.
The new RWD VE cars from Holden does not have a 2dr coupe planned on it as of now. Holden wants a coupe, but it would be a lot cheaper and easier to build 3k Monaros next to 130k Camaros then the other way around.
