it has a hole in the trunk like someone shot at it....hmm maybe the stains on the carpet is blood from the owner and no pics of the interior cause the dead body comes free in the back seat.

Actually some of the LS1 guys are doing that now instead of running race carpet. I was reading about it on LS1Tech a few days ago.

but dont many class rules require carpeting? does that count?

personally, when i build my SS i wont be concerned about every 10th, ill be happy with what ever it runs fully optioned. and thatll still beat all the cars in my area and be nice enough to be a true show car as well. but like i said, thats just me. If i built a full dedicated drag only car, then maybe, but i still think the bed-liner would look out of place.
