tuning conandrum if you will.......

well i just found out today that the previous owner of my car had put 3.73's in my car and i never knew about it. I was under the assumption this entire time that my car has 3.23's which gm put in. The conandrum is that when Bill tuned my car he tuned it for 3.23's. My speedo is not off and all my shift points are on point. it makes no sense to me that the car is set for 3.23's but in actuality it has 3.73's and there are no discrepencies from the car, shift wise or computer wise. Any comments or suggestions??

I'm not that up on fourth gens but I know on my IROC I changed the plastic gears in the trans for the speedo. Is it possible that this is the same on the
