Not as far as I know. Pretty much that whole car was a one-off.

Ditto: That car is part of GM's collection and was on tour the Summer of 2001 or 2002

Those tail lights kinda look like 4th gen T/A lights with blackout stuff on them.

Exactly... u can see that it wouldnt really look good on your typical IROC, cuz the bottom of the taillights are at a slant to meet with the molded wing. Just fab up some T/A lights or something

those taillights are almost exactly like the 3rd gen trans am taillights(maybe they are), think about it, remove the bird, put iroc z on it and darken them. notice the sides how the body lines w/ the wing look like the stock TA body lines. 3rd gen camaro lights wrap around, to have a side marker. bird taillights are flush and have seperate side markers on the 1/4 panels. and look, a side marker on the 1/4. i wouldnt be surprised if that car is a bird chassis with camaro front clip and custom rear bumper and spoiler.

Yeah the 91-92's have tail lights that look a lot like these. Change the center to "Pontiac" and it would almost be the same.

Good theory, but untrue....
Quote:
This "One of a Kind" protoype winged Third Generation Camaro started its life out as a common 1987 IROC-Z. It served as a test vehicle for durability testing at the Milford Proving Grounds. Before the car was retired it was turned over to Chevrolet Design Studio for use as a "color mule." When the car arrived at Design Studio, it was in bad shape. Among the damage: the transmission was in the back seat and the exhaust was jammed into the hatch area.
A few people in the Design Studio realized that this might be the perfect car to "modify" as a prottype vehicle. Their "magic" caught the attention of Chuck Jordan, Design's Executive VP at the time. Mr. Jordan started putting his influence into the design. The rear wing was his design along with the "hood fences" which looked similar to the Ferrari F-40 he had just purchased. Only the design of of the ground effects actually made it to final production.
The car had once been repainted a charcoal-pearl color and Mr. Jordan liked the car so much, that a new drive-line was installed; the exhaust was modified several times until Mr. Jordan determined that it was "just right." Custom 17" wheels were installed and the car was lowered more than two inches. Mr. Jordan then had the car painted "Candy Apple-Orange" at Design Studio. To go along with the new paint job, an Italian Glove Leather interior was installed to finish it off.
This was one of the cars that Mr. Jordan drove on a daily basis and it is one of the few left that survives today. Most were scrapped after his retirement in 1991 but this one is now owned by GM Design Studio Historic Collection.

eh.. oh well, i was wong, lol. but if you put the rear section side by side to a 3rd gen bird, itd be almost identical, so im still confident those lights would be a direct bolt on to a bird.
but its interesting on how they converted the hatch(i bet not many noticed that) to the vette style, where only the glass opens and the rear metal piece is now fixed. you can see the two studs/bolts at the bottom where the new latch is.
