sorry that there hasn't been much activity here lately. been busy with work, family, and racing commitments.
to bring eveyone up to date:
events: it looks like we are goingto have a 4 event schedule for our championship. it looks like 2 events in new jersey, 1 event in central pa, and 1 event in upstate new york(only a few hours from boston).
classes: the expanded class rules are taking longer to get together than i anticipated, sorry about that. one big roblem that i have run into is finding a reliable, quick, and fair way to enforce displacement rules. i am pretty sure we have a line on a solution to that roblem, i just have to find out the cost and availability of the appropriate test equipment.
sponsors: we have a bunch of interest from companies. a few are familiar to anyone who has attended an NJFBOA event before(year one goodie bags will be at every event
) and many are new to our circles. right now most of the companies interested in class/event title sponsrships are waiting for us to lock in dates and classes, then they wil be jumping on board.
promotion: the series forum is linked on about 20 major f-body related sites and i have already had contact with some people at different magazines. we are still waiting for responses from a few people in the braodcast media, but they are inteested depending on hwo schedules work out. we will be advertising this series very widely, so expect to start seeing a lot of mentions all over the place starting sometime around december/january.
