almost car jacked/jumped

I was leaving New Briunswick tonight after the trucks and after I went to a bar on somerset street. well, I was driving down somerset and I hit a red light in a really dead section of town. So I'm sitting there waiting for the light to change and I start looking around because I have a pretty short attention span. I glance in my right sideview mirror and I see a black guy with a huge whit T-shirt jogging uo the street towards me. Funny, I didnt see him before when I rolled up to the light. so I keep watching him and as he gets even with my rear bumper on the passenger side, he quick cuts over to my driver side. "**** THIS!" I thought. So before he has a chance to get up to my window, which was rolled all the way down and the door was unlocked, I put it in first, let the clutch out with a liberal amount to throttle and got the **** outta there. that would have really sucked if I didnt see him coming up behind me.

Good thing there was no one else at the light and you were able to haul ass out of there. I would've done the exact same thing. Even if he really was lost or something, there's no way for you to know if he has a gun or some weapon. In those situations, you look out for #1.

i bet you ran over his dog or something and it was still attached to your axle and he was just trying to get it back. that definately sounds more believable then a black dude trying to carjack you.

glad you made it out ok

I'm probably the furthest thing from racist, I was just trying to give an accurate account of what happened.

and james, what would I have shot him with? my pocket knife?
