B16 swapped crx vs me- who will win??
the kid is running his mouth saying that he will take me by a car length.
wont tell much about his car. says its a crx with B16 swap, N/A - no turbo, no spray etc etc. im assuming hes got a LSD and close ratio transmission. but it is fwd..
He claims it runs 11s, and is the "fastest car in cumberland county NJ"
I ran mid 12s on street tires. mods in sig. and I HAVE DRAG RADIALS THAT HOOK LIKE A MOFO NOW!.

well even if he does somehow win your car is still sexier and his is still a fwd econo box so u still win (and no i dont hate all imports ect i just hate civics cuz i think they are ugly and very rarely see one that looks decent)

if hes taht confident in racing you he doesnt just have a 14 sec b16 trust me... youre gettin hustled.... tell him to take a ride to the south he thinks hes teh fastest street car.... i know some STIs and a MR2 that will make him look stupid
and yes im saying my friend has a " " cause my car aint done yet! LOL

the fastest all motor b16 car is in the low 10's if not the 9's by now, the last record iirc was held by a person, not a shop car...not sure if thats changed though

are you familiar with teh ricers?  ive seen people with home depoted intakes on their honduhs and 5 inch wal mart exhaust tip talking all kinds of crap. like they can beat a vette or any v8 blah blah blah. I guess i stoped taking them seriously after awhile. Sure ive seen some fast honda's i remember one time i saw a honda run a 10.9 i believe at OSW but the turbo on that sucker was louder then jesus's farts!
I guess it depends on which year and which B16 is swaped into the crx, here are some specs.
89-92 B16A1 158 @ 7600 rpm 111 lb/ft @ 7000 rpm
92-95 B16A 168 @ 7800 rpm 116 lb/ft @ 7300 rpm
94-97 B16A3 158 @ 7600 rpm 112 lb/ft @ 7000 rpm
97+ B16B 184 @ 7800 rpm 118 lb/ft @ 7500 rpm
99-00 B16A2 160 @ 7600 rpm 111 lb/ft @ 7000 rpm
Like i said i dont know which one he got, but ehh since its N/A i dount he's running much over 200fwhp  but then again i dont know ther kid. Also Crx can weight anywhere from 1715 Lbs (1985 HX model) to 2175 Lbs (1991 Si model) and as weight nazis will tell you weight means alot. I just dont think he has what it needs to beat the thread starter from a dig at a 1/4. If he was boosted id say you'll get spanked silly but he's not so there's only one way to find out.

WOW. dude turn into a girl much? Anyhow, I'm just made skinny. Consider i was like 4' freshman yr of hs and only 75 lbs. then im a small kid. Now being 5'7 and 128 lbs. Im kinda bigger i guess. Good thing is that im 9% body fat.
