For anyone who loves the art of driving a race car...
arguably F1's greatest driver ever, Michael Schumacher, is running the final race of his career today. the brazilian GP just started, being braodcast on speed channel.
he has more championships, wins, fastest laps, poles, laps lead, podium finishes, wins at more different tracks, and collected points than any driver in F1 history.
he has an outside shot at the championship still. if he wins and the points leader finishes outside the points, he can win by 1. it is a remote chance, but a fitting end to one of the greatest driving careers anyone has ever had.

i bet alot of other drivers are glad it's his last race. just like other golfers wish that tiger would retire. winning never gets old though. definately the best F1 driver.

his championship hopes are basically gone now. while fighting for a position very casual racing contact cut down his left rear tire. his is now the last car on the lead lap and his chances of getting around the entire field are slim. just to get back to 10th to finish in the points would be an accomplishment now. 
he has been my faorite driver for years. not because of his wins, but because of his passion for the sport. when he finishes on the podium or wins a race or even in a casual interview you can see that he still truely loves it.
anyone who has won so many times that says one of his favorite racing memories ever was finishing second when his brother ralf got the first win of his F1 career is a class act in my book.

yes, by a lot. $100mill salary and an estimated $150ish mill a year in endorsements and bonuses.
i read a thing that said he has never negotiated a contract in his entire driving career either. he would just say yes to whatever he was offered basically. his only contract demand is a percentage of his salary taht gets split betweens some of his favorite charities.
what would happen if professional athletes in this country acted like that instead of being whiney retards for once? i think the NFL players association woudl collapse overnight if anyone even thought about it. lol

it is all over. he worked his way back to forth place and put a stamp on it by dropping the fastest lap of the race, nearly a full second quicker than anyone else, in the late stages.
on a few other boards people try to **** on him for driving at/over the limits of his car. funny, the guy won nearly 1/3 of his starts and was in the lead at some point of 1/2 of his career starts. sound to me like driving over the known limits is the fast way around.

they said that he already has a job in place with ferrari the day he announced he would be retiring. so far no one seems to have any details about what he will be doing.
my idea would be to make him the friday test driver. lol imagine having your "third" driver be faster than any active driver in the sport. that would be fun to watch.
