need computer/laptop help

ok, so i was basically given a laptop by my friend because i mentioned i needed one for tuning my car. I got the laptop now and just tuned it on. I now feel it isnt enough for what i need. I need to know the steps to go through to figure out, mhz speed, ram and operating system(dont ask) lol. just tell me how to figure all this out. it mentioned win 98 se, but also says win 95 so in not sure. Its a Dell lattitude CP. Is it even possible to upgrade this laptop to specs i need? or nto even worth it? any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

nevermind... its running windows 98se, intel pentium with MMX technology at 233MHz, and 32 MB ram.... so...its WAY to little for what i need.... damn it...

i assume its not even possible/feasible to upgrade the processor and Ram...

EDIT: nevermind once again... i found out it is not possible to upgrade the memory to anything higher than 128MB(2 64MB sticks). I need 256 min ...512 recommended... so right there this laptop wont work....and the price, almost free, it would have been great, oh well, back to my friend it goes....
