Finally got the T/A moved
Well after my trailer broke again (brake issue) I decided to just bite the bullet and try and drive the T/A, crippled engine and all, the 17 miles to my fathers house. It didn't start off well, pulled it out of my garage and it just up and croaked. Stalled and that was it. Went nuts for about an hour until I found a blown fuel pump fuse. Hmmmmmmm? Car had over a 1/4 tank so I replaced the fuse and started it up. Drove about a mile and same thing. WTF? Hooked up the tow strap and pulled it back to my place ( I didn't like the idea of towing it all the way to my fathers with no power brakes or steering). By this point my gauge had dropped to almost nothing (got to love factory fuel gauges right?) SO I went and got 5 gallons of gas, replaced the fuse and tried it a third time. Started right up and drove all the way to my fathers (Pump must have overheated from lack of fuel and popped the safety fuse). So now I am alol set to hack her apart and deliver the new heart. Sadly I have to fly on Tuesday now so it will have to wait until I get back. Ijust hope the fuel pump is OK, one more headache I don't need right now.
