yea...i'm gonna be f'n with all kinds of stuff and it just won't run with stock computer...the cam and 21lb injectors are going to kill it cause i'm going with the 260H compcams cam and the stock injectors are 16lb...not to mention changing to aluminum heads from the stock iron ones, i need to retard the spark beond the capabilities of the MSD DIS-4 box...so far the only option i've be able to locat are Megasquirt systems...

I dunno how good you are with electronics, but you could always wire a Gen III 3400 OBD II harness and ECM into your engine bay, then use HP Tuners to tune it

huh..did even cross my mind...BUT...i'd have to buy the ECM...the O2 sensors would need to be replaced with $85 a peice 4 wire heated...then i would have to buy the hp tuner stuff...i think i just stick with mega squirt...its $120 and would have the same effect...unless someone know how to tune an obd1

I'm also curious too for people that can still tune. I have a 95 OBDI with an OBDII style port. I don't trust this mail-order stuff. And no I'm not going to buy the equipment and try tuning it myself.

umm .... nooooooo ... its still OBD1, just has a 16 pin OBD 2 connector under the dash. A OBD2 scanner wont read it cause its not OBD2.

You use a 12 pin OBD1 scanner (such as Autoxray and such) with the old ALDL interface cable, and take 2 jumper wires. Go from Pin A of the cable to PIN 5 of the OBD2 port. Pin M of the Cable goes to Pin 9 of the port. Thats all
