Middlesex Area

Anyone know of a place I can get my headers done at? If someone has a lift, maybe some air tools... I asked plenty of mechanic friends I know but no one wants to help. I'd have it done, but I live in a complex & don't have the tools for it. I'd be willing to shell out money. Just need to get this done.

They're MAC mids on a '00 Z28...

I would definitely offer for you to come here, but we still have mud up the barn, gotta wait just a little longer before the rocks get laid down, and the Lift will be here just after that.

Ask HarcoreZ28. He's in that three way corner in Somerset / Bridgewater / Bound Brook. If he has access to a lift I'm sure he can work with you.

If jOn or Jon helps ya with the job I'd be more than happy to help out, too. I'm really good at standing around, drinking beer, and giving advice.

I know of a good mechanic in Bound Brook. I've been taking my car to him for years now and he is a cool guy. He installed my headers and did a great job. He used to work at Haighs auto right next door to middlesex highschool, but he got back into his own business again. His shop in Bound Brook is just temporary until he finds a bigger place. But he would do it for you. IF you give me a private message, i'll give you a number for you to reach him at.

Buy the $100 in tools it takes, do it yourself, save yourself the $450 most places will charge to install it, have a feeling of pride when finished.

It's emphasized in my lease that I cannot perform any kind of car maintenance in the parking lot of my complex even including a simple oil change. Believe me, it would've been done already.

Thumbs up

I think if you can hold off until the weather is better you will get peeps willing to help, me included. There are a good bunch of guys here, who are willing to move mountains for the price of pizza and beer.
