And the project begins...
So she's finally all parked in the garage hood off and all ready to be plucked.
For those that don't know I'm going with the LE2 package for www.eportworks.com. Claims to deliver around 400-420 rwhp. Also picked up a new rear end from jake with 4.10's.
The garage is kinda tight but I installed my headers in the garage so hopefully I'll manage. I plan on begining to rip it apart this week.
Should be a long an exciting project I plan on doing a lot more than just heads and cam and the rear. I'm going with everything to compliment. Timing chain, bigger injectors, ported intake, fuel pump, bunch of suspension, etc...still don't have the whole plan laid out yet but its getting there.
Goal is to have the car run mid to low 11's N/A and 10's on the bottle.
And I want to have all of this finished by the end of july.
Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
Heres some pictures to give you an idea.
heres the rear, just painted it with 4cr(some spots still need to be touched up), plan on getting the t/a cover for it thats why I didn't paint the original cover.
oh yea and heres the beater I just picked up
1998 Mazda Protege DX 1.5L 5-Speed with 120,000 miles
So yea heres the overall look of my garage and driveway, parents aren't too happy but oh well

I really appreciate all the offers for help guys and your guys are more than welcome to come anytime.
Problem is I'm in school and work and I do most of my work at night after work around 9 or 10 till I'm too tired to keep going lol. Occasionally I'll get some free time out of no where and work on it a little bit (like today). Got most of the front end dissassembled and out. Radiator, fans, intake, hoses, water pump, alternator etc...
I was planning on working on it all day sunday but now I have two parties at my restaurant. Running a restaurant is not easy and takes up just about all of my time unfortunately...
I'll definately put up a post in the north jersey sections though when I can set a day to spend the whole day on it so keep an eye out for that, hopefully that day will be really soon.
P.S. - I didn't order the heads and cam yet. I have to go pick up the heads I'm buying off jon and I have to take my intake manifold off. Then I'll send him those two things and order the package.

If you don't need the penetrating oil to creep, use Kano Kroil. Otherwise go with PB Blaster as stated above.
