Got a message from Paul (Smoking SS) today...
He told me that he's been browsing the site some from his cell phone, but he isn't able to post. He will be graduating from Basic Training tomorrow!
He wanted me to tell everyone that he's doing great and loving the Army.

I'll join in with the "got a message from paul" club. He's absolutely loving the Army and due to a mistake in his expected bonus, he may have a new addition to the car collection upon his arrival back in jersey.

Hey all, I have completed Basic Combat Training. My graduation was yesterday. Today I was able to acess the internet from the local USO. my cell phone brings up some of this site but not enough plus i cant post from my cell like justin stated. Now that i'm in AIT, we get alot more freedoms and passes so I may be able to log on every weekend or so.
Basic was fun. I honestly had a blast. we got to play with everything from live had grenades to 50 caliber macince gun and anti-tank rocket launchers. We learned a ton and spent several days "roughing" it in the feild. plus we got to experience the infamous gas chmber, that was interesting. All in all, it was a great adventure and i'm glad i finally took the step and joined the army. I am currently in AIT, advanced individualized training for my job, motor transport operator. i will be here for another 7 weeks. my graduation date is most likely Dec14th, so i should be back in NJ around the 15th or 16th, and yes, there will be several parties over the course of time which ill be home. The new car will not be a neon, lol, but the SRT lineup were almost all in the running.
justin, thank you for posting up to begin with.
melissa, you letters are in the mail
kasey, i got her address so you wont be getting them lol
ted, i'm going to log into myspace in a few minutes now, lol
I also now get to keep my phone and use it during personal time on weekdays and while on pass on the weekends, so ill randomly be giving people calls and texts.
Thank you to everyone for the well wishes, and i will see all of you soon enough. It doesnt even feel like i've been gone 2.5 months. haha
and finally, ill post back up next chance i get, maybe tomorrow, maybe next saturday, who knows....
edit: ok, so im not checking my myspace... i forgot my password...how much does that suck. tomorrow ill see if i can reset it.
