Nitrous Install question

Im fininshing up installing my NOS kit this week. I want to know if its ok to run the line from the tank inside the passenger compartment along the passenger side and then throught the firewall or must it be run underneather the car? I have no interior in the car right now so thats why I was thinking of running this way.

there is no tech rule that says you have to have it outside the car, it is just a good idea.
