Wait...it doesnt get 20's? It gets another set of 18's with new tires....
New brakes? No...they re-caled the ABS
Quote:
The GT500KR doesn't just go better, it stops better. The new tires work with a recalibrated anti-lock braking system (ABS) that results in improved stopping distances 6 feet shorter from 60 to 0 than the stock GT500. The ABS system has been tuned to be unobtrusive during spirited driving. Similar honing was undertaken with the vehicle's traction-control system to optimize acceleration
|
So they lowered it, they re-called engine, abs, and traction control, put on new tires, and some weight loss mods. Oh yeah...gears.
For 40k over the GT500. Yeah, sounds like a good deal to me.

Cool car. But $80K for a Mustang is absurd! It goes against the whole premise of what Mustangs are about.

Screw that, for the SAME PRICE, you get a Z06, which will still out-perform it.

I'm actually going to have to go with Al on this one. Way overpriced for what it is, and still won't be a terribly awesome performer.

To sum it up you are spending an extra 40grand for a Mustang with a VIN # that has KR in it.
