Yea forgot about the whole saltwater + different metals. But I would just get a gear swap to make it counter rotate.

2 things first alloy motors parts never liked salt if you ever had to dissasemble one
second - its only the ((( old boat ))) stuff that has the motor turn backwards the stuff today the out drive does it < cheaper to make a drive than all the motor stuff -- like oil pump , most use gear to gear for the cam , cam it self the , the crank is a thing some have a special unit and some dont i believe its a firing order thing in a V8 that determins it not sure - never payed that much attension to boats -- jz

How about you get an inversed turbo encabulator with a synchronized direct phase detractor to produce the proper centripetal acceleration weighted off the tangent that you are looking for and of course you would have to worry about mass*acceleration dampening...

 | yea, other than older marine applications the only thing I know of that uses reverse rotation are certain industrial applications.
