Need help with a window problem pleeease

hey guys,
well this isnt a question for my camaro but for my daily driver, 96 civic. yes, i know this is an f-bod website so dont grill me...but i know this problem may be universal to all cars with power windows.

my senior year in high school i got my windows tinted and a few days later the window pops off the regulator..it was working fine before that but after i got it tinted it starts acting all wierd. im thinking someone messed with something. so im thinking its probably the motor and regulaor..so i bought a regulator and a motor put it in and it still has a hard time going up, and to this day it still does.

but i was working on it today and the window motor crapped out on me, so im buying a new one tomorrow. but i was thinking what if it wasnt the window motor all along? has anybody had problems with their windows or window track (aka glass run im told) being bent or something that prevented your window from going up at full speed? id be heated if i did all that work and spent money on parts to just bend something back out or check something really simple and the problem was fixed. anyone have input?

good stuff. i know they can be a hassle with the rubber track guides on either edge. and there is a little adjustment here and there to get it right. best to test it all with the door apart so it sits right the first time.

yeah i went to a junkyard..picked up the whole set up off a junked car..regulator and motor put it in. it still has a hard time going up. not sure if the motor was crappy still on the junk car or maybe it is the rubber...i was messing around with it when i was down there and everything seemed ok. i guess we'll just have to wait and see
