My farewell thread, im moving to NC.
So as it states im moving to NC this friday. I am going there for school. Nascar technical Institute to be exact. School is a 15 month program so i graduate Nov 2009. I only get a 2 week break for christmas and its straight school. I dont know if i am coming back to NJ in 2010.
Being a member here with a ton of post and only making it to a toal of 2 club meets possible 3, im dissopointed i couldnt get to the meets more often. I was to busy on the weekends with work. Saving money, to help get me the 2000 Trans am. Yes im still going to be a member here. Im still going to have new jersey plates for at least a year so duhh ill still be around. I will be taking pictures of car shows and local crusises and whatever else comes along in NC.
What i can say is I have meet many good friends through the board. I have introduced members to the board and members to each other in person. And have tried my best to get any body that has an F-body to sign up for the board. Its been a fun time. But for the next year and a half my post will be coming from statesville,NC.
My 92 firebird is still for sale. It will be staying at my moms house here in hopatcong. When a buyer for the car or parts for the car comes along the car will be avaible in hopatcong. My grandpa will have all paper work, title, keys and what ever else.
Reason for me making this, is for everyone to understand why they wont see me at any meets until 2010. For those that have seen me at the meets you can agree that yes im what my user name describes and thats The Skinny Guy.

if your real desire is to work in nascar, then, no, you won't be coming back to NJ. NC is the heart of nascar, hence, the reason why the school is there. crack the books, be the top guy in your class and you might have a shot at a position with a team. scoff off and don't study or pay attention in class and i can guarantee you will be wasting 15 months and you will come back to NJ with no job prospects and your future looking as bleak as it does now. do the right thing and utilize your time wisely...

Good Luck in NC. You're going to LOVE IT. A friend of mine just recently moved there in May for NTI as well and he absolutely loves it. He plans on never returning to NJ because Moorseville is just a gorgeous place - Hell, NC is just a nice place to live. Congratulations on your acceptance and good luck in all your endeavors. I hope you enjoy it just as much as he does nd maybe I'll see you around (I myself am thinking about applying there!)

Congrats and good luck in school! Sounds like you'll have a great time. NC is a great place to live, my family is from Chapel Hill (home of UNC ), Long Beach (east), and Waynesville (west). It'll be a nice change from NJ, clean air and bright flowers lol
