Motorcycle Road Test

Going for like motorcycle license test tomorrow. I rented a scooter. Any suggestions other than "don't drop the bike" and "don't put your foot down"?

Crossing my fingers.

And, do they check your helmet for reflective tape?

They didn't check my helmet for reflective tape when I went in June. A scooter should make it a hell of a lot easier. I took it on my R6 and the guy at the DMV was really nice. They seem to all be motorcycles guys at the Wayne DMV that I went to.

Just take it slow and ride the clutch and you'll be fine.

I'm sure you will be fine with the scooter. The problem I had was I was too tall for the little thing. My knees were hitting the handlebars when I was trying to do the cones ...

Show up with a licensed rider. They need info from a licensed rider's license. I don't remember how many people used my license, when I took a buddy for his test. Ride with confidence and don't go too slow.

didn't need a licensed rider with me. I threw the scooter in the back of my truck and took it there.

If you rented it from East Coast on rt1 they will deliver it and show their license for you. What is Gino charging for the rental?

when i took mine, i rented it from a business that just does dmv tests and so forth. she met me at the dmv early, took me around the block so i could practice on it. see then also drew out the course with chalk in the road and explained every step of the test and had me go though her setup. once i was good, we went back to the dmv she went and spoke to the instructor and i went over finally, went through the course and it was as simple as that. but once again, thats renting from a business that does that sort of thing all the time, not a dealer

East Coast had a practice session with me on friday, the guy set up cones and had me go through the whole gammit of things, coached me on it a little. And yeah, it was a 100 bucks to rent.
