Overall I like it but I hope they aren't planning on charging much more than a GT.

This is what I see different:

- Wheels/Tires are the same size as the optional 19" on the GT. They look nice though.
- Engine is not dressed any differently than a GT
- Interior is exactly the same except for the GXP on the seats.
- Brembo brakes look nice and should perform better than the very solid stock brakes.
- Front bumper and rear bumper diffuser is different and I think looks better than a stock GT.
- And of course a manual trans with the LS3. I didn't want a stick with this car but a lot of other do. The LS3 is also a better motor obviously but I'm curious to see the gas mileage.

I think it would be fair to charge around $35,995 and adding in the gas guzzler tax.

Looks good, I think it'll look better with some sort of 5 spokes (but that's just my taste)
Overall, I like it.

GXP gets different seats and steering wheel on the insie. GXP wheel has a flat bottom and thicker then the regular G8.
Oh yeah, and 6spd manual.

Absolutely love it.

I'll take one in black, please.

Is the sunroof retractable, or is it a pop top?

Seats I can tell are def. different after jumping in mine this morning. As for the steering wheel, the sport package comes with a thicker wheel....I can't imagine any thicker than this because its freakin beefy. Can't wait to check one out in person and see what they run.

The sunroof is retractable

Well, from what I remember I sat in a G8 GT and G8 ST at NYIAS, and then sat in the GXP, and this had the same interior as you see there, but the flat bottom steering wheel was a nice touch, but I remember the steering wheel was like grabbing onto my forearm, but it was more sculpted. You can see it in the picture.

More straight on shot of the steering wheel. Little different then a regular G8's wheel

Hmm, size looks the same but the stitching appears different....off to the vehicle I go!

Maybe it was the larger grips on the 10/2 postion on the steering wheel that made it feel bigger.
I must say...the seats are AMAZING! Very Euro looking, very awesome.
And the 105k ZR1 still gets base model seating...i dont get it.

Looks nice but I think I'll hold out to see if they release a 2 door version. There is a bunch of pictures of it on google but this is the only one I liked. And its too big to post.
Here is the link http://images.streetfire.net/photos/...60/1034506.jpg

Actually, that Orange G8 ST was a photoshop that one of the guys over at GMI did for our article when we broke the news that Pontiac was thinking of bringing the Ute and Sportwagon here.

And the Coupe 60 wont make it to production. Holden relies on exports to keep its plant running, and a big place they had planned to send the Coupe to was America. America's car sales are dropping like a rock, and there is just not enough room for the two here in the US, not to mention what happend last time GM brought us a Holden coupe....
