ever felt so tired that you felt like you would fall over?
Have you ever been so tired that you get dizzy when you walk that you felt that you may fall over and not be able to get back up?
Well i did today since 11am. Ive done 30.75 hours of school and 45.6 hours of work. Closing the store all week and opening and closing it today. I cant believe i even can stay up to make this thread. This isnt about bragging, its about seeing who gets this way when they are really tired. I didnt even get this way when i stayed up 42 hours straight last year for disney. And im going to be doing this again this week. The pay checks will be nice but next weekend all i will want to do is sleep.

Yes, I've been like that a few times, it is NOT healthy. It's not something that should be done often.

Since I went to school for art I never had to worry about cramming for too many exams around finals time, but for some reason I always got brilliant ideas for projects about 3 days before they were due. I have many many days straight in dark rooms and painting studios. Coffee and cigarettes were the only things that kept me going.
I remember actually falling asleep standing up at the mall one day because I knew if I had gone to my apt I wouldn't wake up for class so had to keep myself busy. It's a terrible feeling though. Good luck! And try to at least eat nutritious to keep yourself going.

I don't sleep much anyway, so when I would get busy with school and work and everything else, it never really bothered me.

Sleep isn't necessary, rest is. There is a big difference and you can teach yourself to rest even if you don't actually fall asleep. You just have to teach yourself how to relax your body and clear your mind for short periods of time, similar to the concept of power napping, and you will be able to roll full force for many more hours.

Lack of sleep is the story of my life. 2 full time jobs, 1 running my own business, house and 1.5 acres to take care of on my own, family responsibilities, planning a wedding, etc.
When I reach my breaking point I actually throw up...it's not a pretty sight. Then I have to go to sleep because I'm literally non-functional at that point. I'm 27 years old and have given myself Stage 2 Hypertension from working so much and never slowing down. Welcome to the American Dream.

Hahah didn't mean to hijack the thread but thanks guys.
Yes there was a girl out there special enough to somehow make me settle down voluntarily. Got engaged on the 10th and we're hoping to have the wedding in October before the winter...otherwise we'll wait til Spring.
Tim....she'll be doing most of the planning but I want to be supportive like I should be. Once we pick the reception hall my only other major job is finding the limo that I want (stretch 57 Chevy). She'll do most of the work on the photographer, videographer, flowers, etc. We already have a DJ too so hopefully it won't be that bad.
