If it is a real example of a collectible from 1968, why not? Look at how much people pay for stamps, cars, coins, old records, pez dispensers and various other items, so why not some toy cars. Especially in a store display, that adds to the value of any collectible.

i lost some mickey mantle cards that probally would be worth something today. lost them playin that game of flipping the closest to the wall. and who knows what other worth something ones i used on the spokes of my bicycle.

I know somebody with a huge collection of 1950s HO scale Lionel trains. Those have got to be worth some $ as well.
