Advance Auto Parts.

I got a MAF there (AAP) on 4/4/08, I believe it had a year replacement warranty. I have the receipt, and the MAF (duh) i have to replace it right now. Can I go to any Advance store, or do I have to go back to the one I bought it?

should be any if they say no, ask for a manager, if they say no, say you will call corporate.....they will do it, like any other chain retailer

I'm 99% sure you can go to any AAP and exchange it. I have returned parts bought at one store at another with a receipt and they didn't question it at all.

as a former employee/key holder I can tell you that you can go to any advance. BUT only the one you baught it from is going to have it in the computer. If you g to another store they will give you a hard time. and even if you did NEVER tell them you installed it

yeah you really get crap for returning electrical parts so heads up. any store should take it though.

Well I want a replacement, I don't need the money. If it didn't break I would be in this boat. But I guess I should take this to the manager Thanks for the heads up.

yeah you should be alright. expect some resistance though like everyone said. tell em you couldn't read the chinese instructions no. don't do that.
