Which one of your cars has the bad trans? I have a 700R4 that I pulled from my car 2 months ago(1987 T/A). Had 140k miles on it but it shifted good and everything works on it.

throw it on ebay or craigslist, see what happens

just figure out how much your trans would cost to get replaced or fixed and sell it for around that much or whatever you want

why dont you buy a beater for cheap. take your 95 off of insurance then when the trans is fixed put it back on and take the beater off?

I'm sure your not going to want to hear it, but it's only temporary. When you have the money, security, and time pick up another toy later.

Sell the 3rd gen...buy a Honda...take the TA off the road and once you get the money fix the trans. Best of both worlds...gas eff and you still have your F-body
