The daughter also played Shannon on Lost. And the Mother was Jean Gray. I'm excited to see where this goes.

I just saw on tv a review I couldn't agree more with. The plot of the movie is pretty standard; good guy vs a gang of bad guys who have kidnapped a loved one. The bad guys are faceless basically and the movie SHOULD not have been as good as it was, especially in the hands of chuck Norris, Steven segal, etc. But liam neeson was just so full of badassery and played the part incredibly that it made the movie phenomenal.

Yeah, the plot is nothing that great, but Liam's methodical hunting down of these people was Bourne-esque and had that feel to it.

i never would've guessed that liam would have been that bad-assed in an action movie. all of the cia stuff happened in the beginning and was fairly stock-type stuff, but then it gains momentum and doesn't stop until you are watching the credits. very well played.
hell, i wouldn't even have thought liam would have learned the basic movements to krav maga so quickly and perform them so effortlessly on camera. the knife scene toward the end is all krav maga, to anyone that knows this style it's very easy to pick apart the movements. it's funny the french intelligence officer telling him not to make it messy and then yelling at him after the first night that there were "7 bodies, 30 hurt and a building blown apart", to which he replies, "it was only a trailer."

Just finished watching it and man what a good movie. The movie was very well done and I was very impressed by Liam's acting.

One of the most AWESOMUS movies ever!!!! Just got home from seeing it. When the action started, it never stopped till the end credits. I never thought Liam Neeson could be such a bad-a**. I love when he jumps on the boat in the end and just breaks the guys neck. The PROFIT JUST WENT UP 10%!!!!!!!!!! Ha ha, love this movie, might have to go see it again tomorrow. -Jeff.
