			I have a built 4L60E w/ a 4200 stall converter out of my 97 3.8L V6.
I also have a 10 bolt with 4:10's, Powertrax locker diff and a T/A girdle and stud kit.

These parts were in my V6 that got flooded.

Ralphs transmissions built the trans with racing clutches and h.d. steels. Also stiffer spring on the third gear band to keep it from dragging on the reverse drum on hard take offs. Transgo shoft kit was also installed. I put 50 passes on the trans since it was refreshened.spent over 3,ooo on this piece

It is controlled by the servo on the side of the transmission and the spring is there to release the servo. The band should not drag on the drum EVER. I truly hope that you didn't spend $3000 on a 4l60e whether it came with a converter or not.

			I don't know about the v6 to LS1 possibility.
I'm under the impression the guts are the same though.

When was it built...... many years ago - maybe 5? Granted, most of my runs were N/A and when you have power just to sneak into the 13's it doesn't put much stress on the parts. I didn't spray a whole lot w/ this tranny.
