New Camaro problem

I guess this is another reason not to buy a car during first year of production...

I guess it will be a new void warranty indicator.

wow thats terrible.... cant beleive that didnt happen to test vehicles and if it did why they wouldnt fix the problem.... there is obviously way to much stress on that bumper cover....

MAN, what an expensive RECALL that's going to be. Replace the bumper, repaint it to look PERFECT and having buyers and owners questioning QUALITY CONTROL. Hey Al, got an answer for this FUBAR!

yes. its caused by strong wind forces getting caught in the headlight pockets and pushing up on the hood/bumper area. like said in that thread...even if you dont go 150 mph this can happen over a year or two in some decent headwinds over a year or two.




gm really dropped the ball on this one. im really glad too.

Another reason why they should have not done the retro thing.
While they did a great job in design, they should have went with a more modern front end, making the two other cars look totaly outdated.
But whatever....that really really sucks. Strike 2.
