Torque Arm.
Well, I kinda broke mine.
Not really, but the mount is mangled, is it a serviceable thing, or am I looking to just replace it? 4L60E LT1 car. Stock TA

If you know the manufacturer, I'd call them direct and they'll more than likely work with ya on whatever you may need. If the arm itself is tore up I'd just buy new. Spohn was good to me when I had issues with the rear mount on the 12-bolt.

Now would also be the perfect time to upgrade to a torque arm relocation kit. It would allow you to remove the arm from the trans but will not cost you as much as a full chassis mounted torque arm since the original arm is re-used.

They make such a thing? Would it carry over later if I upgraded the arm to an aftermarket piece?

Any stock or factory style replacement torque arm will work with the relocation kit.

So a UMI piece will not work later on?
I want to get a nice UMI piece, chassis mount, but lack the funds to do so at the moment.

The direct replacement unit will work with the kit. The short chassis mounted kit is completly different.

I have the UMI relocation kit. It works very well. It will fit any long style torque arm. The only down side is the increase in interior noise, but it doesnt bother me any.

I have a Spohn TQ arm mount with DS loop non-LT style. You can get that off me and order just the tq arm and that will save you money

Chassis mount. Its what he posted, cept mine is black and has the loop. I'll take 40 bucks for it. Then just call up Spohn and tell him that you got the mount and want the rest of it.
