10 bolt f-body rear 3-channel AAM 4.10's
10 bolt f-body rear complete with 3-channel housing, 3 channel backing plates, axles auburn posi, AAM 4.10's $500 pick up only.
I bought this rear last fall complete out of a wrecked 1995 Z28. I disasembled it, removed the LT1 brakes and sand blasted it. I then welded sphoon LCA relocation brackets to it, I then welded the LS1 e-brake cable brackets to it. I followed that up by priming it and painting it semi-gloss black. I installed new axle bearings and seals. I installed a used set of 3 channel backing plates and reassembled it with AAM 4.10 gears on the existing auburn posi with fresh ring gear bolts. I bought a brand new differential cover and painted it silver and installed it with stainless steel bolts.
I bought this as an extra rear to weld LCA brackets to and use at the track. Its already July and I have only gotten to the track once, I have since cleaned up and painted the origional rear that came out of the car. I have little desire to go back to the track this summer and no reason to keep 2 rears. I always see people looking for 3 channel rears and figured if someone needs one I will pull it out of the car. They can even see and hear it working in the car before I pull it. It runs great with that typical slight 4.10 humm over 60mph.
