My old man's new truck ..
Since we bought the new travel trailer last month, my dads V6 F150 wasn't going to cut it pulling it around. And I refuse to let them take my truck at their will. So he picked this up saturday.
2009 F150 STX 4x4
4.6 3-valve
6 speed auto
3.73 gears
pretty much loaded. The STX package means no carpet basically, so that makes cleaning it much easier.

very nice truck good luck with it. just a quick ? would'nt an 250 been a better choice for towing. or is the 150 rated enough for the weight of the new trailer?

thanks .... its rated enough. The new trailer isn't all that heavy, it weights 4200 .. Max GVW of like 6800 or something.

to be honest, ford comes well behind dodge and chevy as far as trucks go in my book. that driveline is just lacking.
but i guess if you really need that ipod adaptor, you're in luck.

I dunno, the big three seem to have a competition of who can make the biggest and ugliest front ends.

I like the new Dodge and GMC.
The Chevy Silvy looks meh. Looks wide and ugly. GMC is very nice.
