if she's looking for a cobalt ss cheap the only ones she is going to find will be the 2.4l n/a 4 doors. you can find them for like 10 grand now. if money is tight might i suggest not looking for the top model cobalt. i bought my 07 ion brand new for 10k.
if your looking for a good driving car with some nice power i have a 99 z28 in my sig for sale. check out the classifieds on here

Fixed
Cobalt SS comes in 3 flavors.
the old LSJ powerd 2.0 Supercharged cars are good solid performers
the LNF powerd turbo 2.0 cars are gunna be the most expensive, but comes with the coolest things such as a 260hp turbo engine with tons of room for mods, Brembo front disk brakes, and 18 inch forged wheels.
The Cobalt SS also came with a 177hp 2.4 VVT engine, using the SS's suspension without the power adder.
They changed it to Cobalt Sport i belive in 07 or 08.
If you were looking for a Supercharged Balt but find them to be too expensive, find a Saturn Ion Red Line which is a similar car with same powerplant.

lol al, most of those turbo balts put down about a 13.9. the supercharged ones did a solid mid 14, most 5th gens ive seen have been doing around 13.5, which happens to be the same time my 99 z put down a few weeks back
either way, just look around online but theyre still pretty pricey....and from what ive seen the redlines are more pricey than the cobalts because you cant find them anywhere

Is she looking for a 5 speed or automatic? Non turbo SS, supercharged or turbo? I know somebody at work with a non turbo/supercharged SS but it's a 5 speed. I'm not sure he wants to sell it, but I can ask.
