I'm not really feeling those, but I do like these -

They should be available through www.evhgear.com

I cant stand the look of sneakers now. they are either flat soled and souless...
Or they are high top basketball style.

Al, it sounds like you're talking about Nike's line up, not sneakers in general

Nike's line up is getting out of hand. It either looks like the show posted below, or just a baskeball sneaker.
They are getting really really ugly. And like what nasty posted, it looks like something out of the 80's!?!?! Ugh, you wouldnt want to be caught DEAD in shoes like that!! But now they are all over.
Even the more conservative sneakers, like KSwiss and New Balance are getting ugly.
Getting back to Nike, why does everyone of thier shoes have to have the damn shocks in them, or some variant of it. Ugly.

Hand to god, if you were ever caught with them on, you must have come from some the eastern block. Thats the only thing I think of when I see people in them. Reminds me of this kid that came to America, escaping from Russia in 92ish (fall of communisim) and he had these style shoes on.

Thats the other shoe, the skater shoe. They look like they are 400lbs.
There is a reason I dont buy sneakers anymore. I havent been able to find a cool looking set in a long while.
and when I do, they are usually all white or all black. All white's not bad, but you end up getting them dirty within 30 mins of owning them.

Yes, very comfy (spent several years back in the day wearing nothing but Airwalks and Vans), but also very heavy. I wear New Balance or Adidas sneaks now (when I actually have shoes on).

I used to wear Airwalks and then they sold out to payless. I actually bought a 2nd pair of the exact same kind I wore into the ground, they were so comfortable

And guys, skate shoes aren't heavy. What does it matter if you don't skate?

I thought they were pretty basic for Nike's, and yet still sexy.
