I had the mufflex 4" with spintech muffler and dual 3" exits on my old 00' SS paired up with hooker long tubes and ORY pipe made by mufflex. The car sounded like a beast. I had at the time the Catrek 3X head and cam package. My car dynoed 418 rwhp and 389 rwtq and the guys were like WTF? We removed the mufflex 4" and replaced it with a TSP rumblex exhaust (very similar to SLP LM1). The rwhp jumped to 460 and the rwtq jumped to 418. The fit of the exhaust was awesome but I gained 42 rwhp and 29 rwtq after removing it. I highly recommend them as they do incredible work, I just don't want you to have the same issue I had.

Not worth it. Power gains will really depending on your setup. There is such a thing as going too big.

If you have the mods to support more flow, you will certainly see some great gains from it. Of course, those can vary based on which muffler setup you go with. They offer 4 different ones I believe, a Flowmaster crossflow style muffler with 2 tips, a Flowmaster straight through style with a single hidden tip, a Spintech crossflow with 2 tips, or a Spintech straight through with a single hidden tip.

I have seen/heard of people get the 4" single tip system and substitute a DynoMax Ultraflow and pick up significant power over the same setup with the Flowmaster.

For a basic bolt-on car, their 3.5" system would be better though.

i had true duals on my t/a it was too much weight in piping for what it was. y pipe works fine. 3.5 would be perfect for later modding
