Anybody paint hoods here?
ordered a glass cowl hood for my 99z28 . looking for a decent price to have it painted.
yes....... its black!

probably going to need body work so prepare for that.... fiberglass is a mother f-er... i had about 25 hours of body work in my hood before i primed it for paint... and it still sank in 2 years later now and needs to be redone... its inevitable... just for warning you... its most likely going to need more than just paint if you want it to look presentable... some people just dont care but from what iv seen from you on the boards you like to take care of your peice sooo... good luck... i work at a shop in brick... its a little out of the way for you... if you are interested let me know..

Ask Emolineaux(thats his sn here) hes knows a local body guys....believe he did the paint on his hood and wing on his 98

thanks i will pm you about your brothers/friends. should have hood next week, debating on a wing too. so i am gonna hold off for a week or 2 and maybe i will get both painted at the same time.

yea man hit camarorat up he does awesome work! and a good guy to deal with!
here is the paint job he did on my ultra z hood
(this was right after we installed it before i got to wash the rest of the car lol)
