experienced tornado weather

Im in elberton,ga for a friends birthday and we've been having tornado warnings. it was pouring rain all day then the rain stopped, wind stopped and outside it felt like there was a void of air. you could move your arms around and just felt like no air there, could hear over the police scanner talking about tornado heading towards the area. then in the sky we saw leaves going by but not a single tree in the area had a leaf on it. about 10 of us at this house start talking about if the local fire alarm went off we would take cover in a valley in the yard.

well ended up passing just southeast of us and the rain came back i just had never epericened anything like it they've had 3 tornados pass thru the neighbors yard a few years ago.

I believe I drove through or near one in Ohio once, when I was headed to detroit. The sky was bright orange/yellow at midnight. Rain so bad I couldn't see at all, and the truck i was driving instantly went from the center lane to the right. The it sounded like someone took a handful of rocks and thee them at the windshield, then I realized it was hail. That was a fun night.

My bro went through one in an illinois rest stop(my home state). Believe it or not I went strom chasing in my vette the first year I had it. I got a couple nice pics of a tornado wanting to form, but never does. I also got a vid of a lightning strike. Pretty awesome.

If you get hit by a Volvo, it doesn't matter how many sit-ups you did that morning.
