Any Verizon Droid 2 Owners?

Hey all,
I'm finally gonna upgrade my phone, and am sort-of at a tossup between the Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro. Both phones have a built-in sim card so when I travel to Italy I won't have to get another phone. I really like the look of the Droid 2 better, but have 0 experience with these Androids. Anyone with real world experience want to comment?

I used it for the week I had it with the Volt. Ehh...Im so used to my X, that I didnt like the 2 at all. I dont like keys, I dont like sliders, I dont like the mini-screen. Just not happy.

the droid 2 is a pretty good phone. i got the 2 over the x because im a texter and i wanted a key board. if your not a texter get the x or equivilant. it works pretty good but the android system can be glitchy at times

Thanks for the opinions guys! I wish the Droid X was available in a global format - it would make my decision really easy LOL. My brother-in-law has that phone and it's awesome. The Droid 2 uses most of the same on-board hardware so it should be a similar experience. Any other thoughts?

How's the warranty on the phone - did Verizon take care of the replacement?

Hey Steve, if you want to wait a little longer, I think the Incred 2 is going to be a world phone, as well as 4G. April 28th is the launch date for VZ.

Swype keyboard on the DX lets me text much faster than I ever did with the normal QWERTY keyboard on my EnV or EnV2.
