Pulled Over
i got pulled over this evening(tints + loud exhaust) by a town cop in bergen county, and at first it was just the normal riff raff when getting pulled over. he asks me what the deal with the car is so i explain to him whats going on with it. he goes back to his car and comes back to me about 2 mins later(no tix) and he tells me to have a nice day and "fix my car up, it deserves better" so i imidiatly agree with him, and then i ask if he is into cars. turns out he is, and he also owns 2 camaros(2001 SS and 2010) i told him its accually and LS car and he literly mad me pop the hood so he can check it out ! we spend about 15 mins going over my car and talking about his...
so i pull away and he pulls me over about 1/4 mile the road again, he comes up to my window and tell me he saw i have the 3rd brake light missing in my SS wing. so he tells me to follow him to his house. he gets back in his car and he leads me back to his house, he walks in his garage, and come back out with a LED 3rd brake light for the SS wing. he GAVE ME a 3rd brake light ! he said 1 of the LEDs is out so he got a new one. i really lucked out
nice cops are awesome !

Haha great story. more cops then some think are car guys and really cool if you arent a jerk to them. you got a 100 dollar part off him so even better!

Just goes to show if you behave and don't act crazy, it pays off and then some. Seems most cops are into the muscle cars and don't harass as much....although the only time i got pulled over in the camaro was by a female...showed a little zipper cleavage and was let go.

yea hes right. sometimes he get the real nasty one. one county cop pulled me over once about my exhaust(i got LTs, Catted Y and LM 1) and he told me NOONE wants to here it and its just annoying. he went on to tell me how regardless if you like cars or not, noone wants to hear an exhaust.
and my car really isnt even that loud
