That's definitely not your run of the mill A-Body! That was a fun read to start the morning off. Thanks for sharing!

Killer build took a minute to figure out what was going on at first, but hell of an attempt.

I respect all the hard work and everything, but if you didnt know any better you would just assume it was a restored chevelle with an ls1... just to me it seems like too much work just to have it look like every other car at a show

the difference is in the drive most likely. driving old chevelles arent that much fun. they feel like school busses. this one would most likely be the best driving chevelle out there

amazing work but if im sitting in a chevelle, id rather feel like im driving a classic muscle car than a new age sports car.

This is the best of both worlds...ride quality, reliability, ease of maintanence and off the shelf parts of a production car, yet the looks of yester-year muscle. I get leaving a stock car stock but for folks that want the best of the best, this thing would serve that purpose. Probably started out as, 'lets see if we can do it and to what extreme'.....they succeeded. Easier way to go about it but this was cool to see.

I would strongly disagree. Any gearhead worth anything would take one look at that car and see all the work that went into it just from the rear seat "delete" and the stuff under the hood.

Some people just build cars because they enjoy to build....or build them to enjoy to drive. It isn't always about impressing everyone else. They are cars, after all.

You may be right there...just add the multi color scallop paint scheme. Putting bigger brakes, a lowered stance, taller and wider wheels and modern amenities like fuel injection shouldn't go outta style imo.

Yeah, that wheel is played out and I think all wheels that look similar to this are hideous, people like what they like, IMO thats just a "Crager" and was never a good looking wheel. but that has nothing to do with the pro-touring "went out of style"
I think this sums up pro-touring and it will never go out of style
