anyone ever use legalzoom.com

as of 2 weeks ago i am unemployed. ive been wanting to start my own appliance repair business(been in this career for a while now). im great with fixing appliances or anything mechanical, but when it comes to legal documents and things of that nature i get a bit intimidated. i just spoke with someone from legalzoom.com and it seems like a pretty nice option for someone like myself. the price is pretty reasonable. he said it would take about a month start to finish. im just looking to see if anyone has any real life experiences with them (good or bad). any help would be great. thanks

I've used them. The whole process was very smooth, they made calls to update, emails with updates, etc.. I had my EIN/Tax ID within 4 days or so of filing even though I was also told that it would be approximately a month as well.

Nothing bad to say about their services, made my life a whole lot easier.

Are you creating an LLC? Its really easy to do, I did it all online myself.

I actually used LegalZoom almost 4 years ago now to incorporate CTW Motorsports as an LLC. This was based on the recommendation from a relative who is an attorney - single owner presents no problems you would need an actual attorney to push it through.

I think it would be a single owner LLC. That seems like the better option for me. I have to talk to my uncle who is an accountant. He would be able to give me an honest opinion.
