Are you a toll-booth racer?`

Come on admit it, we have all be on the parkway at some point in our lives, and when it says "toll payed" you just rip out like a banshee!

I know on Saturday we were all going through the booths at the same time almost about 15 loud F-Bodies throwing change and ripping it out of the hole!

hows your rear sounding these days craig? Did tim run your car at slp day? I tuned a guy for 4.10's in his ls1 car on friday and they had little to no whine IMO.

Actually the rear quieted down after about a week or so. I changed the fluid and everything is okay now.

thats why it was so unexpected, it was raining that afternoon and the tires got all wet in the toll booth as water seems to collect in there. my dad's datsun is the mean one, he took a 240z took out as much weight as he could and dropped in a 350. the car would literally fly off the ground at lime rock doing 200mph+ and was totally street legal. sadly he sold it a few years ago before i could get behind the wheel

i never mash the pedal in any of my cars.

my wife (and sometimes in-laws, when they are in the car) ask me what my hurry is... i tell them to get in, sit down, shut up and hold on. for a while there, when i was travelling solo, i got so good at chucking the change that i wouldn't have to stop to hit the basket. tokens were the best, though, for high speed toll payment.

everytime i get the chance i floor, like tonight for example, my tires are old, but i don't care. I was at a red light, floored and spun through 1+2 and then took off, repeat at next light, made a U-turn(real nice rear slip as i spun the tires around the corner) at the next light up and did the same thing for one light and took a right and went down a back road and hauled ass up to 110mph(passing the street going to my house) then backed off, pulled a u-turn at the next light a repeated until i came back to the street leading my house. Smoked a mustang and a few ricers as well

I've been known to hit the little "go fast " button when leaving the toll if someone is next to me

It also releases the oxygen in his scuba tanks so he doesn't pass out from the mad acceleration g-forces of a 3.8 with a k&n

Didn't you run a 15.92 (spinning) with the cavy? That's faster than a 16.075

I went to St Joes in Montvale for High School...going up the parkway every day, too poor for ezpass...set the record at beginning of sr year...48mph according to kyle...and he also said that i made it in when he looked back. The last toll booth on the parkway is great. in almost 3 years of driving it, I've only seen a cop car their once, on Southbound, and i didnt even see a cop in it. Are they in there and just sleeping, or do they just put the cars there to scare the crap out of people? BTW...the radio comes thursday, and sunday a kid said hed give me his old trans am steering wheel with the audio controls on it...its gonna be sweet!!! Too bad Vito pretty much butchered the old wire harness. now i gotta probably rewire the whole car...oh well. he kept the body immaculate, and teh milage low. havent gotten a bad comment on the car yet.

You better believe I race out of the tolls! And like Little G, I don't wait for it to say paid either. I used to own the tolls when I would drive to LBI in my Camaro. Those were the days...
