Wonderful

So I banged up my POS yesterday. Backed into my father's Chevy Blazer...plastic import vs metal domestic...guess who won? Can barely tell on the truck where I hit...but my rear bumper can't be missed.

Now I'm debating whether to get it fixed or just hope someone helps me total it soon....hrm

my wife just decided she could just park right in front of my truck instead of paralle parking it into the spot and sideswiped me in the process

It's not broken up, but it's dented a bit in as well as scratched up. And I chipped a piece of the tail light cover (nothing major tho), as well as the bumper is slightly separated from one of the panels (I can't describe it right).

Don't feel bad, my genius sister managed to back the camry into a trailer thursday...little dent, but she took the guy's reflector with her

Then there was me and the guardrail, but I figure that doesn't count anymore because it was over 4 years ago

Heh - you're still the only person I know that has made a Galant do ballet

Since we're telling dumb stories of other people.....my dad was driving my '85 Omni once (little hatchback, lots of window space) and backed it into a full size dumpster.

Bum deal.
Not to add wood to the fire but I too have noticed more women hitting stationary objects then guys. My mom backed right into my car in the driveway.... it was like a DUH. You walked right up to your car, how did you miss seeing my bright red camaro, lol.
The drunk that hit my front end in a parking lot was an old fart so it's mixed.
At school I used to park in the streets. I only saw women hitting both cars in front and behind them when trying to get in and out of spots. Ohio drivers in general (even in the city) don't know how to drive let alone parallel park. The guys would just find another spot or park illegally. I even knew 2 girls that would ALWAYS hit cars. I used to drive down the road to find their cars before I parked. It was funny watching them get out of the tightest spots. It reminded me of the Austin Powers scene where he's gets stuck trying to turn around :P .

This is pretty much what I did. Dad parked near the house after grocery shopping, and didn't move it. I walked right past it, I knew it was there, I just started talkin to my brother and forgot to back up slowly to k turn out between it and dad's subaru. I wasn't happy about goin to work, plus my bro was headin to a friend's house and wanted to drive (he's on his permit atm - shoulda let him drive, he would be at fault instead of me lol). I was explaining why I didn't want him to drive ( I had to get to work so I could eat something before clocking in, and he would take too long to get to his friend's house leaving me little time to get to work and eat) when I backed up. Oh well. At least I can get it fixed for relatively free (nothing out of pocket, just some free babysitting for the family).

You say sorry, but I bet you're actually laughing over there! Lol, I want to total it, but I want it totaled in an accident that isn't my fault...so no bats, no bbqs etc. Now if someone wants to come rear end me (and I mean my car, get your minds out of the gutter ), preferably on my way to work so I don't have to go in, that'd be awesome. Otherwise, watch out for my brake checks...provided they don't fail cause they might soon lol.
